Whatever you want to ask, ask Connexions Surrey!Connexions Surrey provides every young person aged between 13 and 19 (up to 25 with special needs) with information, advice and guidance on a full range of issues that can affect teenage life. Connexions is designed as a one-stop-shop; whether the need is for health or housing, careers or transport, relationships or the law, or just about any other topic, Connexions Personal Advisers can help. We work hard to ensure that the Connexions service is as accessible as possible for young people. In addition to six centres located in towns across the county, there are also more than fifty other access points where young people can pick up information, located in youth centres, cafes and schools. In many of these locations Connexions Surrey provides free on-line facilities to enable young people to visit the Connexions Surrey website and other excellent on-line information resources. Connexions Surrey also reaches out to young people. Our team of Personal Advisers visit every maintained school, college, special school and PRU on a regular basis. We have supported the creation of around 70 new projects across the county, and as a result we deliver more than 18,000 more adviser-days working directly with young people than there were before – a major new resource! To further enhance accessibility, Connexions has developed a range of remote services that substantially extend the ways in which young people can contact us. In addition to our website, young people can contact a Personal Adviser on-line either by email or via an instant messaging facility. There is also a free-phone service and a text messaging facility, and all of these remote services are available 18 hours a day, 365 days a year. So, wherever you are in Surrey, and whichever the young people you work with, Connexions Surrey is there for you! ContactsContacts for young people;
