Reigate & Redhill YMCA
Reigate and Redhill YMCA is a purpose built sports and
community centre, operating on its current site in Earlswood since 1992, which
provides sports, leisure and children’s activities for the local community. The
facilities include a fully equipped gym, sports hall, outside 5-a-side pitch and
meeting rooms.
Activities include exercise classes, crèche, afterschool care,
holiday playschemes, children's programme, angling club
and a model railway club. Other projects we run
for young people are Millennium Volunteers, Connexions PAs,
Heads Together Counselling Service,
NextStep a rent deposit guarantee scheme and housing information service, NightStop emergency accommodation
and Hillbrook House, a supported housing project for young single people. The centre is fully accessible for the
disabled and under the Fit for Life project the YMCA also offers appropriate
activities for those with learning or physical disabilities
and those recovering
from illness. We are an Inclusive Fitness Initiative,
accredited organisation. We are expanding our work with our YIPEE Club and
exclusive playschemes for children with disabilities.
