Aims
The Studio provides a service to
children, adolescents and their families, that is complementary to the clinical
diagnosis of ADHD.
The aim of The Studio is to
offer a therapeutic environment for the sharing of personal and emotional
problems, to enhance clients self esteem, and to advise on coping and management
techniques.
The Studio has an Activity Programme and is registered as a Special Needs
Duke of Edinburgh Award Unit. Workshops are held for parents on parenting
skills, and stress and relaxation training. The
active and committed Management Committee look forward to supporting the aims
and future development of the organisation.
