 Surrey Scouts

General Information

The purpose of Scouting in Surrey and throughout the world is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

To help achieve this purpose there is a progressive training programme for all young people aged 6 to 25.  This starts with the Beaver Scout Section for the youngest boys and girls and progresses through the Cub Scout, Scout and Explorer Scout Sections to the Scout Network for those aged 18 to 25. Scouting in Surrey is provided by almost 200 local Scout Groups in 19 Scout Districts.
