The Lifetrain Trust

Mission

Empowering young people and disabled people to make positive changes for themselves and the community through learning, equality and inclusion, and to offer opportunities to those who wish to support them.

As the county arm of the country’s largest non-uniformed youth organisation, UkYouth, we provide support to affiliated youth groups across Surrey through fieldworkers, and a number of nationally accredited training courses for both young people and their youth workers.

Similarly we support a number of disability groups across the county through fieldworker visits, a number of accredited training courses, and through residentials in this country and abroad. We provide training for disabled and non-disabled people in disability and inclusion issues.

We have a residential centre at Holmbury St Mary with modern accommodation for 45 people and day visitors which is used for a great variety of training courses by ourselves and many other community groups. The facilities specialise in outdoor activities as a means of training life skills.
